Kids say the darndest things

Kelly and Maddie are sitting on opposite ends of the couch. Kelly is wrapped up in a blankie and Maddie has got her milk in one hand and daddy's keys in the other.

Kelly:

Maddie, please can I have those keys?

Maddie:

*shakes head*

Kelly:

But I need to go to the store!

Maddie:

*shakes head*

Kelly:

Ohh, I'm gonna smack you and put you in jail!

Maddie:

*climbs down off the couch and runs away*
