Best finals week ever?

Though I'm taking a full 18 hours of classes this semester, I only have two exams for finals week. Granted, they are in my two most difficult classes, so a lot of my free time has been consumed by studying and preparing for those. But if that's all I have to deal with this whole week, I can't complain!

Here's the breakdown of my classes and what was required of each for our final grade:

Intro Psych: The final exam was scheduled for Friday at 11:00 a.m., but all students with A's were told last Friday that they are exempt from the final. I was included in that lucky group of students, so I no longer have to worry about PSY 201!

Political Science: This was the first of my actual exams. I took it Monday at noon and I feel like it went pretty well. It was difficult but I studied my butt off over the weekend, so I'm really hoping for a high A. I've been checking Blackboard obsessively, looking for him to post our grades!

Western Literature: We had a final essay assigned that had to be turned in by class time today, but I e-mailed it to him Monday to get that out of the way.

Education: Our final grade came from our group project presentations, and my group was the first to present two weeks ago. As long as we have all forms and journals turned in (which I do), we don't have to meet up this week.

PED 295: This is my PE class for education majors that meets Wednesday nights at 6:00. Last week and this week were reserved for teaching our individual lesson plans; I taught mine last week, and the rest were supposed to go tonight, but I just got an e-mail saying class is cancelled! The only other final grade was another lesson plan we had to e-mail to her this past weekend, so that's out of the way, as well.

Ethics: This is my second and last final exam. I take it tomorrow morning at 10:30 and it will definitely be my most difficult one. I'm also the most stressed about it because I have to get at least a 98% on this exam to get a 4.0 for the semester. No pressure!

Long story short: I'm only required to be on campus twice this week (once for an exam on Monday and once for an exam tomorrow morning). I've been going nearly every day, though, making the library my second home. I'm determined to finish this semester on a fantastic note.

Speaking of that... Enough blogging! Time to head back to David L. Rice Library and spend the rest of today reading approximately a thousand chapters for Ethics, going over my ridiculously complicated class notes, and trying to organize all of that information into a typed outline. Wish me luck!

(And good luck to everyone who still has finals left. We're almost done!)
