Christmas cookies & little green minions

Fa la la la laaaaaaa!

I'M DONE! I'M DONE! I'M DONE! I survived this week, amazingly. It's not like I was super busy or overly stressed or anything (as you know from my previous post), but I have been battling a pretty nasty cold/flu thing since Sunday and that always makes things 100 times worse.

First semester of my second year of college: check.

Even though I've only completed a year and a half of college, I'm technically a junior after this semester, credit-wise. That is the most insane thing ever! I still feel like I belong in high school. I should not be a junior in college already.

Despite this mind-blowing and slightly scary realization, I can't help but feel incredibly relieved that this semester is over. I decided to celebrate by baking and decorating some Christmas cookies :)

After the cookies were done, I went out with Amy, Amber, and Dylan. First, we went to the mall so I could pick up my last check from Aero and tell everyone at work good-bye. Of course, I had to stop in Victoria's Secret while we were there- I've been spending WAY too much money on their bath & body products lately, but I seriously can't help myself. Everything smells and looks so yummy! I've wrapped up lots of my recent purchases to give to friends and family for Christmas, but I'm still left with tons of body sprays, lotions, and body washes. Oh, well... Guess you can never have enough VS products! On the bright side, I know I'll smell fantastic for at least the next two decades.

This is what I invested in tonight. They're having a sale on Secret Garden products: buy 7 for $35 and get an 8th free. That's 8 products for only $35! I couldn't help myself.

One more thing from our mall visit: THE MINIONS! If you've seen Despicable Me then you know how cute these little guys are. Kari is especially fond of them so we had to take pictures just to stir up a little jealousy!

Here are my plans for the remainder of the night:
  • Eat one too many Christmas cookies... Hey, they've gotta go somewhere!
  • Start packing to go home. Amber and I will be Columbus-bound tomorrow afternoon :)
  • Clean this dang apartment. We're not slobs; I don't know how everything gets messy so quickly. I blame the boys.
  • Play some Apples to Apples and Mario with the roomies (minus Kari- she's home), Zech, and Kat
I absolutely LOVE that my to-do list is completely void of anything school-related.
