Revamp time

New house, new car, new school year approaching, new decade in my life (I'm almost 20!), possibly a new job on the horizon... Not to mention, this new blog. Suddenly, everything around me is screaming, "FRESH START!!!"

So here are two of the things I vow to work on in order to establish this fresh start of mine:

1. Get in shape. I cannot stress this enough. I worked so hard my freshman year of college and lost around 20 pounds, but this summer has been my undoing. I don't even want to know how much of that I've gained back. I've been too scared to step on the scales and check. I need to give myself a swift kick in the rear end (mentally, of course) and get my butt into gear (literally).

2. The most important thing of all, regardless of whether or not I work on changing every other aspect of my life... my relationship with Jesus Christ. I've fallen away from God this past year, due to a number of reasons, and it scares me how different I am now than I was not so long ago. The little voice in the back of my head (also known as my conscience) has been telling me to make things right for a few months now, and I KNOW that something needs to be done, so getting right with God is going to be first on my priorities list. Pray for me?

Well, that's out of the way. The first blog post, that is. Now I need to clean my room (I still haven't finished unpacking) and take a shower, because I feel gross. Hasta luego and God bless!
