Makeover Monday: Week 2

Time for another Makeover Monday! Today marks the end of week two. I've put off writing this blog allllll day long, so here we go... 50 minutes before midnight.

This wasn't my greatest week. It seemed to fly by, these past few days especially. I feel like a failure in terms of working out and keeping up with my exercise goals. There were three days last week where I got a pretty good workout in, but that was it.

Work has kept me so busy, and when I'm not working, all I want to do is lay around and unwind. Therefore, my goal for this week is to manage my time better. I need to start sleeping better so I can have enough energy throughout the day to get me through long shifts at Aero and still squeeze in a good workout every day. Wish me luck!

The good news about this week is that my eating habits are improving. I failed in terms of drinking enough water (I will do better this week!) but I've made it a point to add fresh fruit and vegetables to almost every meal. Not bad.

Last week's weight: 184.4
This week's weight: 183.4

I had hoped to lose more than just one pound, but I'm going to look at the bright side and focus on the fact that at least I didn't gain any! After such a lazy week, that really wouldn't have surprised me.

So that's that for week two. Now it's time to get off the computer, do some laundry, and clean my room a little bit before heading to bed. Good luck to anyone who's taken on this challenge with Ali and I!

Weightloss is frustrating. I'm actually trying to loose weight myself. I've managed to loose some, but I've reached a plateau and now bounce bewteen 145 and 143. Oye! The goal is 132.
Good to keep up healthy eating habits and mix your workouts up a bit to challenge yourself. :D Hope you have a good week!

Just remember that every pound adds up ... slow and steady is sooo much better for your body as well.

I am off to slimming world this week to begin my own weight loss journey and wished it could be a speedier one!!! Exercise is always the hardest at the beginning but gets easier as the weight comes off.
