Makeover Monday

As mentioned in my very first post, I'm really needing to get back in shape. I feel like I've undone everything I worked so hard for throughout freshman year- all those hours at the gym and all that time spent picking out healthier alternatives to the junk that I was eating. Summer made me lazy and now I'm back at square one, searching for some type of motivation to get my butt in gear.

I found a little motivation this morning on Ali's blog. She's starting a 5-week stretch of Makeover Mondays, where she'll keep a journal of her exercise and eating habits and update regularly with new goals and the results that she's seeing. I figured I'd do the same, considering these things are always a little less painful when you're not doing it alone. :)

Goals for this week: Eliminate all pop; drink four 16 oz. bottles of water a day; 30 minutes of cardio, five days a week; 30 minutes of weight training, two days a week

Omg Megan! I'm like blushing! I didn't even know that you were blogging or following me until just now! ... SO excited that we're going to be doing this together!! I have to admit, last night I came home from the fair & downed half a sandwich, a yogurt & some pretzels. I was SO hungry! ha. Today I promise to do better! Yay for us for doing this! so happy.
