Highlights

On Monday, I traveled to Kentucky with Amy, Allison, Zech, Kat, Jesse, Yo, and Dylan for the USI vs. WKC basketball game. We lost... but it was such a close game, and the trip in itself was a blast.

Yesterday, I found this dress at Kohl's for $3. Yep, three dollars. I'm not completely loving the pattern/colors (yet), but for only $3, I couldn't pass it up. Especially because it fits perfectly.

Also, yesterday was my first day of field experience for my EDUC 201 class. I'm tutoring at a middle school's after-school program across town. It's a small school, made up of mostly underpriveleged kids (many of whom have behavioral issues), so my work there may prove to be a bit challenging. I'm very much looking forward to the experience, though. I'll be there every Tuesday and Thursday.

This week is Student Worker Appreciation Week at USI. Because I work as a Spanish tutor/lab worker in the Liberal Arts department, I got to attend a free appreciation lunch after classes this afternoon. Domino's pizza and brownies... There goes my diet for the week. But so yummy!

And finally...

People are walking around campus wearing shorts, t-shirts, and flip-flops. I sat outside on the patio behind the LA during break today and read, without freezing my butt off. There are constantly people throwing a frisbee or football around on the quad, no matter what time of day.

Yes, folks. Spring temperatures have arrived. And I pray they're here to stay, because this weather is making me deliriously happy.
