Finally home. I worked for five hours this morning and spent the afternoon shopping and mall-walking with Hannah, her mom, and her sister. It was fun but quite a long day. Longer than it sounds, anyhow.
I got home, kicked off my shoes, changed into comfy old clothes, and threw myself onto the bed... only to look up and see a RedBox movie laying on my desk. Due back before 9:00 tonight or else they charge another $1.00 to my card. Just my luck!
The movie is now safely returned to the RedBox at Schnucks, and I am back home for the night. For real this time.
Roomies are all gone so I have the apartment to myself. Good thing because I am in desperate need of some quiet recuperation time. I was sick all through the week but still worked myself way too hard in classes and at my jobs and with volunteering.
I also deprived myself of much-needed sleep in the name of studying, a late-night viewing of Paranormal Activity 2, and enjoying time with my wonderful friends.
A comfy bed and a stack of Harry Potter books are calling my name. I'm locking myself in the apartment and not leaving my bed until church tomorrow morning. I think I deserve to be lazy for once.
