This past Thursday I went to Winter Jam at Roberts Stadium with my sister Amber, my roommate Amber, and Hannah and Ryan. The whole night can be summed up in one word: incredible. We had great seats, the performances were all amazing, and I got to meet and get my picture taken with Chris August! I took over 200 pictures and lots of videos, so I thought I'd share some with you guys.

Newsboys! They were the last to perform and they absolutely killed it.
While the Newsboys were performing, I sent a photo to TwitPic with the caption, Newsboys are AMAZING live!!! When I checked my Twitter this morning, I noticed that I had an @-reply from none other than Duncan Phillips, their awesome Australian drummer!
Needless to say, I was pretty freakin' excited. (Just as excited as I was that time Dijon Talton from the first season of Glee Tweeted me...)
Winter Jam offers up a great night full of awesome music, speakers, preaching, and praise. They play over 50 shows every year, all across the country, and it's only $10 at the door. Therefore, I DEMAND that you all attend as soon as possible! If you can't catch one of their last shows of 2011, I highly recommend that you keep an eye out for next year's tour dates. I know I can't wait!

I've been to WinterJam '09, I think. I had a lot of fun. But sadly I wasn't able to go this year due to money and transportation.
I remember a story that Tony told us. The year before 2009, they had a WinterJam, and two boys and one girl that were together as a group got saved at the concert. As they were leaving the parking lot, an 18 wheeler ran over them. I think that is how the story went.
Out of the artists that were playing this year for WinterJam, my favorite would be Francesca Battistelli.
